A book club is a great start to help children grow their love for reading, meet new friends, talk about books, and share their perspective about books that they read. Our book club offers more than a book of the month recommendation. We offer a reading comprehension question guide AND writing prompts for a low monthly cost.
Every month you will receive the book selection along with a list of questions aligned to State Standards as a guide to use while reading with your child throughout the month. The questions are intended to help build reading comprehension, using picture clues to make inferences, making text-to-self connections, and more. You will also have a writing prompt and writing templates. The writing prompts are meant to get your child comfortable with writing/drawing to respond to a text similar to how it's done in a classroom.
The book club is ideal for children 4-6 years old.
